The service was excellent, we felt welcome.

The hotel was placed in the very central location in the square. What's more, it was close to the centre as well as Middleham. We had room which had a fireplace, central heating, coffee and tea making equipment and was tidy and luxury.

Consider trying the local pubs for dining options if the restaurant is closed during your stay. They offer delicious meals.

It was just a great fit for a weekend stopover in Middleham with definitely value for money. The owner helpfully recommended a local pub when the hotel restaurant was closed, making our evening enjoyable. For a budget stay, doing some prior research on local dining options is a smart move.

Staying here for a couple of nights was lovely, especially enjoying the delicious breakfast and a nice evening meal that was a great bargain. The sun terrace was perfect for unwinding with a book and the dog-friendly vibe. The only little hiccup was wishing for different pillows, but that won't stop me from coming back! 😊

Charming Stay with Good Dining

The unique views over the market square were a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was well-organized, allowing me to preorder, which saved a lot of time. The evening dining experience was particularly enjoyable with the quality of food shining through, I highly recommend trying the seasonal desserts! One minor improvement could be having breakfast options available a bit earlier for those with early departures.

The stay included a lovely breakfast with a nice touch of coffee pots on each table, and the option to choose cereals individually was appreciated. The location was ideal, with a charming forecourt area perfect for watching the world go by. The bacon type could be improved, as preferred back bacon over streaky. The themed restaurant added a unique flair but could benefit from better signage for the entrance.

My recent stay in the Beautiful Double Room with Castle View was good. The food, particularly the breakfast and Beef Wellington, impressed me. A sheet under the duvet would enhance comfort. The location provided easy access to lovely walks and attractions.

We checked in early and were delighted they accommodated us with a lovely double room. Relaxing on the sun terrace with a book and sipping coffee was just perfect for my solo getaway. Only downside was that the restaurant was closed that night, but it pushed us to find some local pubs for dinner instead! 😊

I appreciated the spacious double room, where I enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep despite being used to a king size bed. For a better experience, consider asking for a sheet instead of a duvet if you're warm at night.

Staying in a castle view room was absolutely magical! The view was a dream, and the early check-in was a bonus. Only downside was the mattress, which was a bit too soft for our taste. 😊
